Rotations

Rotations during the intern year are designed to comply with the American Osteopathic Associations requirements for an Emergency Medicine Emphasis Internship.

Rotations during the PGY-2 through PGY-4 years include a total of 21 months of Emergency Medicine, with an additional 13 months of rotations in specialties beneficial to an emergency physician.

During the senior year there are 2 months of electives.  These electives allow the senior resident to pursue additional training in an area of special interest, or the opportunity to work in other emergency rooms.

The rotation schedule below is only intended to provide the yearly rotations, it is not in any specific order.  During the PGY2 - PGY4 years the resident is in the emergency room every other month.
